Ep. 15: Saying Goodbye To Schitt’s Creek

Saying Goodbye To Schitt's Creek

Welcome back! In this episode, we are saying goodbye to one of our favorite shows- Schitt’s Creek. This show gave us so much over the last 6 seasons, it’s hard to believe it is all over.

Saying Goodbye To Schitt’s Creek

The finale gave David and Patrick their happily ever after, Alexis an opportunity to shine, and Moira dressed like a Priest similar to Robin Hood Men in Tights. The Roses are ready for their next big thing, and we are left wondering when we might see them all again.

This isn’t the first time we have gushed about the show or shared our favorite moments. If you’re a big fan like us, you should listen to our Why We Love Schitt’s Creek episode. I bet you will find yourself saying the same.

This last season was bittersweet and utter perfect Schitts, culminating with one of the best show finales I’ve seen in a long time. I laughed, cried, and laughed some more.

Schitt’s Creek Finale Making Us Cry

I pretty much kept it together until the wedding actually started. But the combination of the singing, Mariah Carey lyrics, and David’s vows got me right in the heart. It was absolutely beautiful.

Jana, on the other hand, was able to keep a dry eye until the “Best Wishes, Warmest Regards” special that aired after the show. That just made me cry more TBH.

Whether you cried or not, the celebration of love was something special that we all needed to experience during this crazy time in our lives.

A Happy Ending

So many things I want to say about this one, but I won’t. You’ll have to listen because we cracked up over that moment. Also, I didn’t even catch the reference at the end of the show but Jana did! I think I was too busy crying and laughing at Moira.

Schitt’s Creek is over, now what?

Although the schedule is TBD right now due to everything going on, look for Schitt’s Creek: The Farewell Tour to come to a city near you. This one-night event brings the cast to the stage for an interactive Q&A with the audience. I’m anxiously awaiting the new dates here on the east coast.

Now is the time to binge new shows. Try “Superstore,” “Kim’s Convenience,” and “Community,” to start with. Need more recommendations? Read the 20 Best TV Shows to Binge Watch Right Now and Best Shows to Binge Watch.

Plus you can always go back and binge Schitt’s Creek. Find seasons 1-5 on Netflix. The final season has no release date as of yet for the US. Ashley is going back to the beginning of Schitt’s because she thinks like “Friends,” it will always be funny.

Ep: 10 Schitt’s Creek Final Season

Schitt's Creek Final Season

Schitt’s Creek final season has officially begun and we couldn’t be more in love with what we have seen so far. David as a bridezilla, Stevie in her maid of honor duties, and Alexis being well Alexis.

Why We Love Schitt's Creek

Is there anything more awkward yet hilarious than a David and Alexis apology? I don’t think so. As Stevie said, it was like watching a train wreck, and I laughed so hard.

Another favorite moment, particularly of Jana’s, was Alexis describing her flying experiences. First of all, she has clearly NEVER flown anything other than first class. Second, she claims she would rather sleep at the airport for a month than apologize to David.

If you have ever had to spend any amount of time in an airport due to a delay or canceled flight you know how miserable it is. Alexis could not handle it. Although thinking about it, maybe they should do some Schitt’s Creek shorts and this would be one of the episodes.

Moira taking over the social media for Interflix was genius. I wish Catherine O’Hara would take over the official Schitt’s Creek account as herself or as Moira. According to this tweet, it looks like they’ve asked and she has declined.

Talking about spouses, poor Ted who is not Ken! Coffee is needed clearly
