Marvel Phase 4 Announcements

Marvel Studios dropped a new sizzle reel and after we got through our emotions hearing Stan Lee narrate we got super excited. Not only did we get a glimpse into the long awaiting Eternals, but Marvel also confirmed some titles for future MCU films.

Captain Marvel 2 will be The Marvels. With the emphasis on the S, we have some theories on what that means. Black Panther 2 is Wakanda Forever. Fitting, especially since we lost Chadwick Boseman last year. And finally, Fantastic 4 is confirmed.

  • SHANG CHI – September 3, 2021

And speaking of Marvel. Set photos revealed a first look at Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, and Echo. We are loving how the Phase 4 suits are on point! Comic book fans rejoice.

If you are unfamiliar with Echo, she is a superheroine who is skilled in martial arts, acrobatics, and has photographic reflexes. She is also one of the few Marvel characters who is deaf. In the comics, she has ties to Moon Knight, Daredevil, Secret Invasion, and more. She at one time used the mantle of Ronin (which Hawkeye was using in Avengers Endgame). She eventually passed that to Hawkeye.

Ep. 27 The Weekly Bugle Vol 7 The Mandalorian, Wonder Woman 1984, & More!

The Weekly Bugle Vol 7

Hey friends! This week on the Weekly Bugle Vol 7 we are going to talk about the craziness of Chapter 14 of the Mandalorian, Wonder Woman 1984 reviews, Spider-Man 3 rumors, and more! Let’s get into this.

Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode Six The Tragedy.

The Mandalorian Season 2 The Tragedy

If you thought last week’s episode of The Mandalorian was going to be a filler one, you’re not alone. We did too. But it most definitely was not. From Boba Fett’s epic return to the dire circumstances, Grogu was left in, there was a lot going on in this short episode.

Boba Fett IS a Mandalorian. After forever of is he or isn’t he, it has now been made canon that yes Jango AND Boba are BOTH Mandalorians. Not only is Boba a Mando but he also still has some bounty hunter butt-kicking moves. He donned his infamous armor and made short work of the Stormtroopers. He even used his missile to take out the ships. Classic.

We also saw the Dark Troopers in action and although it is still unclear if they are Force-sensitive, they definitely look like evil droids.

This Avengers-like squad is gearing up to save Grogu. Mandalorians Assemble!

Hawkeye has begun filming in New York’s Chinatown and thanks to some leaked photos we also know WHEN it takes place in the MCU timeline: 2025. This is 2 years after the events of Endgame.

Check out the first look at Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, and the adorable Pizza Dog.

Spider-Man 3

Zendaya was recently on with Jimmy Kimmel and he tried his best to get her to spill the beans about whether or not there are Spider-MEN in the film. She did not let on to anything, but we didn’t really expect her to.

However, an interesting YouTube takedown might shed some light on this one.

Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Woman 1984 reviews have started to come in. So far they seem mostly positive, but this has happened before with DC films. The first looks can be good, but once the broader audience views it, it tanks.

We have not watched it yet, but we do have some thoughts, and some might not be very popular.

Warner Brothers Streaming Entire 2021 Release Slate

In a surprising move, Warner Bros has announced it will be releasing its 2021 films in theaters and HBO Max simultaneously like they are doing for Wonder Woman 1984. This is an interesting strategy and one based on the likelihood of WW doing well this way. They also circumvent having to change release dates by doing this.

However, not everyone is happy about the decision. Legendary the studio putting out Dune and Godzilla vs Kong is challenging this and has already sent a letter. Grab your popcorn folks, this one could get messy.

Dexter Season 9

Dexter Season 9 will be coming back in the Fall of 2021. The way it ended we hope it fixes a lot of things that went wrong.

Mario Lopez as Colonel Sanders

In the latest episode of WTH 2020, Lifetime is releasing a movie called A Recipe for Seduction. Sounds innocent enough until you realize it’s about Colonel Sanders. Yes, the KFC guy. And Mario Lopez is the star.

We just want to know who pitched this?
